PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT ANY ANTI-VIRUS or ANTI-SPYWARE SOFTWARE IS TURNED OFF BEFORE INSTALLING AUTODATA AS THIS CAN CAUSE ERRORS DURING THE COPY PROCESS.

It is very important that your language and date formats are set correctly prior to installing Autodata. The reason for this is that our USB security keys are locked to a specifc date and language format. Checking this now could save you hours of tech support over the phone. Please download the following guides:
- Important note for Windows 98 and ME users -
If you are installing Autodata onto a PC with Windows 98 or ME it will be necessary to upgrade the dongle driver after installing and registering this CD update. Please follow the instructions below:
1. Close all programs and applications, including Autodata.
2. Re-insert the CD/DVD into the ROM drive (if two CDs have been sent insert the Installation CD).
3. Choose Run from the Start menu, type d:\Win98_ME_upgrade\Instdrvr.exe (where d is your ROM drive letter), and click OK.
4. The following message box should be displayed. This confirms that the upgrade has been successful.
5. Click OK to close the message box.
6. Shutdown and restart the PC.
Your dongle driver has now been upgraded and the Autodata program can now be run as normal, you do not need to reinstall the CD.
