You click on the Autodata shortcut but get the following error E0203 -- Sentinel key not found. When opening autodata you get the error "The Autodata security service found mismatch in dates" You encounter a REGISTER.EXE error when opening Autodata During installation you receive an INST.EXE error Your using Windows 98 or ME and the Model Identification and Data category windows are greyed out How do I uninstall Autodata?
Plug in your Autodata USB dongle and then try opening Autodata again
Open the computers date settings. Check & correct time zone then check & correct dates.
The program needs to be run in compatibility mode for Windows XP
If you are using Windows XP ensure that you have Service Pack 2 installed
Run the Win98_ME_upgrade program on the Autodata Disc.
If you are installing Autodata onto a PC with Windows 98 or ME it will be necessary to upgrade the dongle driver after installing and registering this CD update. Please follow the instructions below: This upgrade must be run after the installation and registration of the Autodata CD update, please refer to the "Installation and registration of the new release" section.
1. Close all programs and applications, including Autodata.
2. Re-insert the CD/DVD into the ROM drive (if two CDs have been sent insert the Installation CD).
3. Choose Run from the Windows Start menu, type d:\Win98_ME_upgrade\Instdrvr.exe (where d is your ROM drive letter), and click OK.
4. The following message box should be displayed. This confirms that the upgrade has been successful.
5. Click OK to close the message box.
6. Shutdown and restart the PC.
Your dongle driver has now been upgraded and the Autodata program can now be run as normal, you do not need to reinstall the CD. For more information or for technical help, please contact your supplier.
Autodata can only be uninstalled manually
1. Delete the folders ADCDA2, ADCDTEMP & ADSecurity from C:
2. Open up registry editor (Goto RUN and type in REGEDIT), goto HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, then goto Software and delete ADSECURITY, Autodata & Autodata Limited Folders
3. Goto Add/Remove programs in Control Panel and remove the Safenet Sentinel Drivers
